This takes place before Laura's mission to Kobol in Season 2. Spoilers through "The Farm"; very mild spoiler for "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I". The Hierodules were real people -- they were Aphrodite's sacred temple prostitutes in ancient Greece -- but the ritual here is my own invention. Unfortunately, nobody knows exactly what the Hierodules actually did. Other than frak, that is! In the same spirit, I hope you enjoy this story!
